Tri-Shutter Cards

Salam all,

Last week, I tried my hands at tri-shutter card, although it seem complicated but actually easy to make. Attached are pictures of my own version of tri-shutter cards. I made them for two of my friend's farewell. Since the cards are for all the colleagues to sign and write their message, it did not have enough space. There are 40+ colleagues at work currently. Also, since it is foldable, it is very fragile. One of my friends fold it wrongly, so imagine if the 40+ didn't fold it properly, there is a chance of tearing the cards.

What I did was to flatten the card, let my friends sign them and later fold it. It would n't be a suitable card if you are sharing the cards with others (perhaps two or three is fine).

There are plenty of tutorials on youtube and attached is the one I took inspiration from. However, I didn't use the suggested paper size so, above is the result. Also, I left the white space for my friends to write on. Have fun trying.

  1. Hi Fadzillah,

As requested I finally got time to check out your blog. Good idea to let people sign it before folding the card so your hard work isn't damaged.
